Think about your practice with the “So What?” method today. What is one thing you understand about commentary now that you did not fully understand before? How will you apply it when writing your next AP Lang argument?

The "So what" method really showed me how lots of people want to know what specifically they want to hear. They want to know how the evidence can support the claim very clearly. When i wrote my "so whats" I would write down what specifically they were adding on too and what way they intended to write it in. To make sure that whoever would read it would follow along on how it could be matched. One thing I had not fully understood about commentary until recently was how it shaped the meanings.
